In regards to the size wire leading from the bat. Switch to the helm, I do not have a clue! I can't tell a 6 wire from a 8 wire size. I am...

    DC electrical problem

Hi Dr. Bob, Well the electrical world maybe different here in Maine, but the cruising is absolutely magical! We have a 50amp main breaker that has failed open. I confirmed the problem with a test light. I suspect the discharge pump rotor did lock up and created the surge that tripped the...

I enter that capacity in the dock side wizard set up. Everything seems to be working well. The GHC 10 heading display now...

    A Maine Gathering

Fan-C-Dory votes for a Casco Bay cruise the first week of Sept.. We suggest going to Eagle Island and take the golf cart tour of the State Park, along with checking out Admiral Peary's famous home on the island. We could over night at Jewell Island or the anchorage over at Cliff Island. Perhaps...

    cockpit fuel tank cover

Hi All, Thanks for all the great suggestions. I ended up using a single sided razor blade, putty knife, lacquer thinner and denatured alcohol for the final clean up. It was very time consuming getting the sealant off the cockpit steps, especially the non skid portion. I noticed some dry rot at...

    cockpit fuel tank cover

Its time for the cockpit fuel tank cover on my c-25 to be re-caulked. I had a boat yard mechanic remove the cover. It was not easy, the port side step could not be removed, he thinks at some point it had been 5200# in place. However he did manage to remove the starboard step and strip away...
