My Dealer diagnosed that Thistle has a worn/stretched out steering cable on the port side. He has it adjusted out as far as he feels safe. I have never replaced one of these on this boat and "it wonders me" if I shouldn't just go ahead and replace both while I'm at it. Are these pretty straight...

Wife is putting together checklists for everything. It should help. I now have a checklist I follow every time I launch or trailer our C-Dory. That's the best way to avoid a critical oversight.

Thanks for the encouragement. I plan to harvest the gas and reuse it for other vehicles. When I siphon/pump it out into clear gas containers I'll be able to see the difference and will pour it off and get rid of the water.
