    Warning to Internet Shoppers.

Well my fire estingisher finally arrived. So no fraud on the part of the online vendor, just really slow delivery service, and a inability to respond to phone calls and emails. Moral of the story - I'll stop using my debit card for any charge that I dont walk out the door with the product. I've...

    1988 21' (yup, 21') C-Dory jet (yup, jet), $5000

I'd be curious as :hot :hot :hot :hot - (excuse my language), as far as how it handles. Looks to me like it would skip all over the place. Anyone have any ideas? Tom

    A new C-Ranger

Read the article and would question this comment "Time will tell whether the C-Ranger tug becomes as popular as the smaller C-Dory. The C-Ranger R-25 can cost as much as $150,000 fully loaded, while a 22-foot C-Dory can run around $30,000." Who is selling C-Dory's for that price ??? Tom

    Warning to Internet Shoppers.

An FYI to the C-Brat Community. Watch out for Smokesign.com . After reading on this site about fire estinguishers, and only finding the Kiddie brand at the local stores, I went shopping on the Internetwork for estinguishers. Found a nice one and ordered it. The site has a Better Business Logo...

Smallest boat in the bay - had fun ploughing through the seas off the northeast side of Orcas Island. Lots of sun but still a bit of a chill in the air. Sucia Island - Fossil Bay Cheers, Tom

    C-Cakes Factory Photo

R-Matey took a running shot of Dakota right after we left Lopez, then when they snapped the shots, I realized I had left the fenders on !!! The one time (or at least the one time I'll admit it) I leave them on, someone comes along with a camera. I might have to pay them to delete those shots...

    05/04 - 05/05 - Lopez Opening Day 2007

Cheers to everyone who made it, we only got around to meeting just a few of you, everything went so fast. The C-Dory's lined up, the prime space was of course reserved for the 19's. Lots and lots of good food - oyster anyone? Anyways - thanks to all - it was a great time - some more...

    CD-19 thoughts

We debated between the two, a 22 or a 19. Towing was a key factor, didnt really want to buy a new vehicle at the time, and the Volvo can tow the 19, so that was the first factor. Second was the gunnels, we both like the wide gunnels. The 19 is the 22, but with 3 feet cut off, (a reverse...

A Little Help From The Locals Please

I first came to Seattle 7 years ago, (was it that long), and one of the first places I found that I really enjoyed was the Center for Wooden Boats on Lake Union - www.cwb.org , check out the web site for all the info. Lots of parking in the area - especially for Seattle. A short walk from...

    05/04 - 05/05 - Lopez Opening Day 2007

Lopez Attendees, I reserved dock space for Friday and Saturday, it looks like we will not be able to get up there until Saturday Morning, so my Friday slot is probably going to go empty. Kathy stated that she was putting Dakota on a 40 foot dock with a 22' C-Dory, so if someone wants to squeeze...

New Member -- Questions used C-Dory

Pat, I'd look at this discussion http://www.c-brats.com/viewtopic.php?t= ... ght=angler to get some insight in the debate between the 19 and the 22. We currently have a 19, before that we had a 16 briefly. The 16 was too small for us - but the 19 so far is perfect. All the 16 owners will be...

Les, Yeah, those folks seem to take forever to get a boat ready at EQ. Of course ya know Les, some of us may look at that statement of yours as proof positive that Karma really does exist. Cheers, Tom

    Fishing 101 - San Juans

Not being from the area - from Detroit/Ft. Lauderdale/Hilo wasn't familiar with the idea of barbless - also since all the hooks I buy here have barbs was surprised the angler shops never mentioned it. How do you tell the wild salmon from the "tame" salmon. Taste ? Thanks, Tom

    Fishing 101 - San Juans

All the advice I get from everyone on fishing - no one brings up the barbed hooked issue here in the San Juans. What is the actual reason for this restriction? Is there a legitimate reason for this ? I had to go an ruin several nice lures this weekend breaking off the barbs. Tom

    Question about the San Juans

I have a question for C-Brats that spend time in the San Juans - is there a risk issue in idleing along - 2 to 4 knots - close to shore on the various islands? Am I being overcautious keeping my distance from the rocky shores around here, or is it OK to nuzzle in right next to the beach, i.e...
